"I have happy memories of the Cane Creek Community Center, beginning when my father turned 80 years old and we held a surprise party for him. Almost 19 years later, when he passed away, we had a wonderful family time there for two days. In between, on January 1, 1998 our daughter married the love of her life and we rented the Cane creek Community Center for a place where our very large family, as well as out-of-town friends, could congregate between wedding festivities. Cane Creek Community Center was also used as the reception hall when our son and his wife renewed their marriage vows. I am very excited that it is coming alive with renovations."
